Hi Neighbour!
I moved to Georgetown in 1986 with my parents and brothers, and I'm so grateful to have grown up here.
I've spent much of my life working alongside amazing people who care deeply about our community.
Over the years, my involvement has spanned youth leadership, community mental health, local business, environmental initiatives, and Town Council.
How I Got Here
1986 — Move to Georgetown
Started grade 1 à l’école Sacré Cœur and Georgetown has been home ever since.
1996 — Introduction to Public Service
While in high school I became the founding President of the Mayor’s Youth Action Committee which was initiated by then mayor Marilyn Serjeantson.
1998 — Youth Mental Health & Community Development
Helped establish Youth Net Halton a regional mental health promotion program and facilitated the program in high schools and community spaces across Halton Region.
2004 — Local Business & Community Building
Became involved with the Downtown Georgetown BIA and Farmers’ Market while starting my business on Main Street.
2005 — Environmental Stewardship
Started my journey into watershed protection and biodiversity policy.
2011 — Raising a Family in Georgetown
Became a mom and began raising my own family in our beautiful community.
2022 — Serving on Town Council
Elected Ward 3 Councillor
2023 — Conservation Halton
Joined the Conservation Halton Board of Directors where I serve on its Finance and Audit Committee.
